About The Lived Lens
Story

Hi everyone, I’m Hollie, a BACP registered Psychotherapist, mental health and neurodiversity advocate, experienced mental health trainer, mental health workshop designer (and founder of The Lived Lens).
Mission
🌿At The Lived Lens we believe in the power of lived-experience, and that people’s stories and voices must be at the centre of how we understand & support mental health.
🌿Our mission is to create intentional spaces for both healing and learning about mental health, always grounded in human connection & creativity. We put people first, celebrate difference, and speak out against the barriers that prevent access to effective mental health care.
Our

INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY
Therapy at The Lived Lens is about meeting you exactly as you are. I offer person-centred experiential psychotherapy, a space to be heard and supported without judgement or pressure. Every session is unique, shaped by your needs and ways of processing — whether through words, art, journalling, music, or sensory play. Sessions are available in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and online across the UK.

TRAINING & MENTAL HEALTH WORKSHOPS
The Lived Lens offers customised mental health training for organisations/ workplaces across Scotland and online. Always grounded in lived-experience, our workshops move beyond clinical labels to centre real voices, practical insights, and inclusive learning. Training examples include neurodivergence, LGBTQIA+ mental health, crisis management, and mental health in the workplace- with a full list available in the training brochure. Each workshop is uniquely tailored, and new topics can be developed collaboratively to meet your organisation’s needs.
